Overcome worry
Psa 23:1-6

Psa 23:1
The Lord is my shepherds, I have everything I need.

Worry is not helping, unreasonable, and unhealthy.

Our body never meant to worry. We were never intended to stressed.

When you worry, you start to look at yourself; but when you worship, you start to look at God.

What shepherd does:
1. Provide
2. Protect
3. Guide
4. Correct

Isa 40:11
God takes care of His people like a shepherd.

Phil 4:19
My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

How to experience God as the good shepherd?
We have to accept Jesus as Lord.

The Lord is my shepherd but the Lord can't be the shepherd unless the Shepherd be the Lord.

Lord: Khurios
To be in control, in charge, calling the shots.

John 10:14, 27
Jesus said, "I'm the good shepherd… my sheep know me… they listen to my voice… and they follow me."

What to do next to experience God as the good shepherd?
Begin to pray about everything.

Phil 4:6
don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything.

1 Pet 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Last step to experience God as the good shepherd is to live one day at a time.

Mat 6:34
So don't be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow. Live one day at a time.

Mat 6:11
Give us today our daily bread.

Let us all live one day at a time to the fullest.
